Coming Home to Myself: Returning and Awakening As the Beginning of My Healing Journey

We’re often told to find our passion in life and to pursue that passion professionally.

You’ve likely heard the saying, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work again a day in your life.” Yet this saying has also received backlash, as it’s a valid point that passions don’t necessarily (or easily) pay the bills. It’s also a matter of fact that our sense of purpose can change at different points of our lives depending on both our own individual reality and the collective reality (and where we are at in our journey/s).

For me personally, I’ve always held multiple passions and struggled with finding a linear path, clear direction, or singular purpose that I could successfully monetize. I ended up juggling different full-time jobs and side hustles/gigs throughout my life. Now I am working on forging a new path in holistic health and earth medicine advocacy and coaching. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak and unconventional mindset. I also have a background in education, a skill set that I believe carries over well to my new path.
